![]() It will not damage your Mac, but you may notice the battery may still deplete when using it. The 45W adapter from the MacBook Air may just about manage to power your MacBook Pro but it won’t charge it. It may not deliver enough power while the computer is in use, though. The 30w charger will be OK to use while it’s asleep and during use. I am assuming this is a USB-C charger and a USB-C equipped MacBook Pro (2016 or newer).
